Rumors, rumors, rumors! And now Gears of War, Hellblade 2 and more will also be released for PlayStation 5.
Today is rumor day, because the insider and leaker “NateTheHate“ unpacked and generated numerous headlines. It was first reported that Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator are planned for both the PlayStation 5 and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
These games are now joined by new rumors from WindowsCentral. Accordingly, Age of Mythology: Retold, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 will land on the PlayStation 5 and possibly also on the Switch 2.
WindowsCentral confirmed the rumors NateTheHate and said that the rumors were accurate.
However, official confirmations or release dates for these titles on the PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch 2 are still pending. Currently, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the only game officially confirmed by Microsoft to be released for the PlayStation 5 in spring 2025.
