Maybe the saga Yooka-Laylee of Playtonic is not one of the great references of the genre of platforms. Even so, without being a legendary classic, has conquered a multitude of actors over the years. According to user Logan Meyer (@ LogMey92 on Twitter), the independent study reportedly informed its Kickstarter sponsors of the rebranding. Meyer himself shows this in one of his tweets.
Interestingly, Playtonic argues that “There is a good reason” for this change. And while that’s all they’ve commented on on the subject so far, they’ve promised that “Everything will be revealed soon”. Although there is no confirmation, the more optimistic might think that the aim of the study is to enter fully into a new Banjoo-Kazooie. Many fans consider Playtonic to be an ideal studio to carry out such a task. Even like that, the creatives themselves assured at the beginning of the year that this was not the case.
