Nightdive Studios announces PO’ed: Definitive Edition
No April Fools’ jokes allowed! Yesterday, Nightdive Studios surprisingly announced PO’ed: Definitive Edition, an updated version of the classic, adrenaline-pumping 1995 first-person shooter, coming soon to PC and consoles.
What was initially dismissed as an April Fool’s joke was confirmed by the studio again today with an official press release.
Inspired by the greats DOOM and QUAKE, the original PO’ed set new standards with its over-the-top, action-packed, fast-paced, explosive, ridiculous, bloody, smelly, tasty, adjective-filled, ultra-violent 3D gameplay.
You play a chef who crashes on an alien planet infested with extraterrestrial enemies and uses a menu of “household” weapons to prepare a dish best served cold.
PO’ed: Definitive Edition from Nightdive Studios spices up the 1995 shooter classic with updated graphics, antialiasing, increased frame rate, redefined controls and performance up to 4K 144 FPS.
PO’ed: Definitive Edition is coming to Windows PC via Steam and GOG, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
