Prepare for your journey when Weird West hits Xbox this fall

Hello Xbox community! We worked on our debut title Strange west for a while now, and we’re excited to announce it’s coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S this fall. As this is the first time we have written to you, we have considered giving you an exclusive look at two of the trips you will take during your time in the Old West.

Strange west is an immersive third-person sim set in a dark fantasy reinterpretation of the Old West. Gunslingers, the evil that haunts the night, ritual performers, and people cursed to a crazy life fill the world with unique and exciting encounters. And be careful: your ally can quickly become your enemy as you seek out the meaning of the burning mark at the heart of your story.

Strange west contains five intertwined journeys, and here we are going to look at two of them, the Oneirist and the Pigman.

The Oneirists spent their time in the West perfecting the art of the future to protect the country from its own dark gadgets. As the new initiate in your order, you begin the Oneirist journey by sliding into your first vision trance, which shows you a much darker future than initiates normally see. Your journey won’t be easy – a whole future hangs in the balance – but with a bunch of magical skills and a shooter or two, you have as good a chance as you can hope to save the West from what’s to come.

Now move on to something else: the Pigman’s journey. You were once a man, sure, but now your body has been turned into half-human, half-pig by someone with a bone to pick. Now you are unsightly. Disgusting to the people you once knew; even enter a city in Strange west will make people shout insults or worse – sic the law on you. When your journey begins, you will be thirsty for one thing: to find the person who did this to you and to find out why. But looking like a monster brings out the worst in people, so don’t expect it to be an easy ride.

These are only two trips out of five that you will take Strange westwhere no two are alike. As a immersive experience, you’ll start a group, make friends, and form enemies.
