Prison Architect 2, the successor to the successful prison management simulator, features 3D graphics, multiple floors, sandbox construction mode, career mode and inmate relationships!
Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven have announced Prison Architect 2, the 3D successor to their prison management simulator.
The game features deeper simulation, more player control, an occupant behavior system and creative options to define a new generation of management gameplay.
Prison Architect 2 will be released on March 26th on Steam, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 for a recommended retail price of 39.99 dollars. Enterprising builders can pre-order Prison Architect 2 for PC today.
Prison Architect 2 features advanced simulation systems that allow players to construct intricate facilities with a high degree of creative freedom in a 3D environment.
From building elaborate structures to managing the needs of inmates while maintaining the facility’s financial stability, Prison Architect 2 expands gameplay and creative tools across the board, making for an immersive sandbox experience.
The game also introduces a relationship system between inmates, who become friends or enemies with each other, which affects who they will hang out with, work with, or fight. Prison Architect 2 takes prison building and management gameplay to a new level by venturing into the third dimension and offering a deeper simulation than ever before.
“With Prison Architect 2, our team set out to take management gameplay to the next level. Greater freedom for the player, influential decisions and simulation of inmates ensure an improved representation of prison administration in a 3D world. Popular features return to manage inmates, quell riots, prevent escapes and share your own prison, but now cross-platform! In addition to a new upgrade system, a new career mode and more,” says Gareth Wright, Game Director at Double Eleven.
“We look forward to seeing how creative players get with multiple floors and walkways to finally build and expand in 3D. To then create a balance between security, protection and self-optimization in their prison.”
