Forza Horizon 4 will be removed from all digital stores today.
Playground Games has officially announced that Forza Horizon 4 will be removed from digital stores on December 15, 2024 and will no longer be available for digital purchase. All DLCs have already been removed from the stores.
Anyone who already owns the game can download and reinstall it at any time, but buying the game again will no longer be possible from December 15, 2024. Reasons for removal include contracts and licenses.
“Due to licenses and agreements with our partners, Forza Horizon 4 will be withdrawn from digital platforms (Microsoft Store and Steam) on December 15, 2024. This means that the game and its additional content will no longer be available in online stores.”
“On December 15th, Forza Horizon 4 will be removed from stores and Xbox Game Pass. This means that the game and its additional content will no longer be available for purchase. Players who already own the game and its content can download and play as normal, including offline, online and multiplayer features; Physical copies of the game purchased after this date will also work and be able to use the online features.”
“If you played Forza Horizon 4 via Xbox Game Pass and purchased DLC content for it, you don't have to worry: If you play on June 25th. If you have an active, fully paid (non-discounted) Xbox Game Pass subscription, you can receive a Game Token when you purchase additional content for Forza Horizon 4 through your Xbox Message Center. The codes will be delivered in the next few days. Please remember that it may take a while to receive your token.”
