A now-deleted pitch video for a rejected LEGO James Bond video game was leaked.
A 47-second pitch video was recorded for a rejected LEGO James Bond video game Reddit leaked. There were various scenes from James Bond films recreated in LEGO. The video has since been removed from Reddit.
The source of the leak contradicts speculation that the video was created for LEGO Dimensions, but that the James Bond IP was ultimately replaced by Mission Impossible. Instead, it was said to have been a pitch for a standalone LEGO James Bond game:
“This was actually not for Lego Dimensions Year 3, but was produced as a pitch to the Lego Group to convince them to give the okay for a full game.”
“It was made during the final year of working on Dimensions, when TT knew Dimensions wouldn't get a third year of content.
“The Lego Group decided that Bond was not suitable and vetoed the project. I think the fact that it was found in the data of a Dimension build is the reason for the confusion.”
