Starsand Island is a relaxed life simulation that presents itself in a new trailer.
Seed Lab has introduced his cozy life simulation Starsand Island with a brand new trailer that highlights the warm world of the game, the profound adaptation options and the living functions of life simulation on the island.
The trailer gave the fans a new look at what to expect when the game came onto the market later this year.
In Starsand Island, players can go on a journey of personal healing when they return to the island of their childhood and furnish themselves in the calming idyll by operating agriculture, breeding animals and building relationships with the quirky characters on site.
With an extensive DIY construction and adaptation system, players can design their island paradise themselves- and even invite friends to help design the ultimate holiday location.

“We are incredible to present Starsand Island in the world again and to present our brand new trailer as part of the first Galaxies show case,” said Richardo Wang, Game Producer at Seed Lab. “This is a project that means a lot to our team, and we can hardly wait for players to get a deeper insight into the world that we build. Galaxies is the perfect place to show how Starsand Island continues and what trip is ahead of us.”
“We have put so much love into the development of an experience that deals with comfort, creativity and connection,” added Seed Lab producer Golton Gao. “Star Sand Island is the kind of game that we would have liked in our childhood – a peaceful refuge where the players express themselves, explore at their own pace and build something meaningful, either alone or with friends.”
In order to support the further development, Seed Lab also announced the start of a Kickstarter campaign that offers fans the opportunity to support the game, unlock stretch goals and receive exclusive rewards.
Starsand Island will be released in winter 2025 for the Xbox Series X | s, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
