Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind games like Control Yes Alan wakes up 2prepares its foray into the world of games as a service. The new title is currently known as Condor. This project represents a significant change for Remedy, as it is the first game designed as a service. It is expected to go into production this year.
Condor will be built on the Northlight engine and will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PC and PS5. Unlike free games, Condor will launch with a “service-based fixed pricing” model, suggesting a lower upfront cost with the option to expansions and microtransactions.
The game will take place in the oldest house, the same setting as Control, where players will have the task of freeing this place from the influence of the Hiss. In addition, players will have to embody different employees of the Federal Control Bureau, interacting with well-known characters from the universe of Control
