Microsoft is pleased to announce the publication of Retro Classics-an exciting cooperation between Xbox and Antestream Arcade, exclusively for Game Pass members worldwide.
From now on you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in an extensive collection of over 50 classic activision games from the 1980s and 1990s. Among them are real cult titles such as Commando, Grand Prix, Kaboom!, Mech Warrior 2: 31st Century Combat and the legendary pitfall!.
Retro Classics is an important step in the direction of preserving video game history and reverse compatibility. You can easily experience these timeless classics on modern devices-be it on your Xbox console, via the Xbox app on the PC or via cloud gaming on supported devices. These include LG and Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV devices and META Quest headsets.
You can easily use Retro Classics via your Game Pass membership: Simply search for the function in the menu of your console or the Xbox app on the PC. After that, the whole collection is available.
Retro Classics offers more than just a nostalgic review – you can expect unique challenges in which you can compete against friends, rivals or players worldwide.
