Beware of the people watching you at Happy’s Humble Burger Farm, they’re a little deadlier than a normal overseer
Working in a burger restaurant of questionable quality is not the best job in the world, but if our life is also in danger, turn it off and let’s go… Although in real life there are places where visits the most varied fauna, it cannot be compared to what we will find in Happy’s Humble Burger Farm. In this latest book Scythe y development team Tiny construction games We will have to cook and prepare hamburgers, but we will also have to solve the paranormal phenomena that occur in the small town where we live. So yes, whatever you do, never make Happy angry. For your own good.
To take away or to drink here?
To begin with, Happy’s Humble Burger Farm may look like a cooking simulator, although later we will see that not everything will serve hamburgers. We will be a more dedicated worker to serve the dishes requested by customers. There will be three types of varieties of burgers, nuggets, fries, soft drinks, cookies, etc. Of course, as you might expect, with each passing day everything gets more complicated: what if throwing the garbage away, controlling the fires, keeping the rats that enter the kitchen at a distance… A series of tasks are swirled around which, if not completed, will result in infractions.
Is it a hidden boss camera?
It is true that the game is disturbing. Not only because of the atmosphere it has New Elysian City, (the city where we live) but because of the paranormal phenomena that occur while we work. The decorative dolls that are inside the hamburger restaurant will move when we don’t realize it (in this, it reminds a lot Five nights at Freddy’s). A customer will appear who moves like the daughter of the exorcist, the lights of the establishment flash according to the situation and other similarly grotesque oddities which break with the routine of the restaurant. To top it off, you will always have the feeling of being watched inside and outside your workplace. Come on, a pearl of position…
To sign and for the house… or not
Once we’ve finished our day’s work and arrived, comes the other interesting side of Happy’s Humble Burger Farm. We will have a big city to explore in search of secrets and clues to help us find out what’s going on there. Although at first we will only have a few places open (a cafeteria, the clinic and another store), as the days go by new spaces will be opened. Some of them will even have a final boss to defeat so that they don’t end up being the minced meat of our hamburgers.
It must be said that the mechanics, the change of pace and the mysteries that abound in each street seem good to me. Even the typical audio cassettes that in other games we always “overtake” while listening, here they take on a very special look. Too bad the exploration is a bit heavy. We have to walk (or run) everywhere, and it can be slow. It happened to me that due to the boredom of walking every street, I finally go straight to the apartment where I can rest and wait to see what will happen the next day. But hey, looking on the bright side, no one forces you to see everything in the same round, and in the end each user can extend the campaign as long as they want, imposing their own pace. What in theory lasts about three or four hours can be extended a little longer if you want to take it easy.
Savor the edges of your burger
Graphically, it looked pretty good. It has that retro polygonal air mixed with the snow typical of early TVs
Conclusion of Happy’s Humble Burger Farm
Scythe Dev Team and tinyBuild Games have come up with a very original proposal that perfectly combines parts of the cooking simulator with other parts of horror and city exploration. There is a whole professional life to accomplish and a city to explore in search of clues that will bring us out of the mystery that surrounds us. All this by carrying out routines that are not so “routine” because of the small paranormal phenomena that we will find. If you like scary titles and want something out of the ordinary, check out the new job posting at New Elysian City’s burger joint. Of course, watch out for Happy Cow. If he gets angry, that could be the end of your job. And your life.
