Square Enix revealed – as we previously reported – a colorful new trailer for Visions of Mana, the next installment in the Mana series, which will be released on August 29, 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft Store, and PC via Steam.
Visions of Mana is the next main part of the Mana series and tells a completely new story.
Players follow the journey of Val, a newly appointed Soul Guardian, who accompanies his childhood friend Hina, the Priest of Fire, to the Mana Tree.
The new trailer introduces the characters Palmina and July with whom Val and Hina befriend on their journey.
In Visions of Mana, players can use their own team of three and switch between the five playable characters Val, Carina, Morley, Palmina and Julei, while their companions Ramco, Ashe and Hina support them.
The new trailer for the highly anticipated action RPG shows new playable characters and new gameplay features. Pre-orders for Visions of Mana are now available on all platforms.
The trailer also gives a glimpse of some gameplay features, including the Spirit Relics – mystical artifacts that contain the power of the elements. The Spirit Relics allow players to change classes and gain new abilities in combat.
Each character has a unique class for each spirit relic, allowing players to customize their team for a flexible and fast-paced combat style.
A familiar feature also returns in Visions of Mana: The Ring menu in battlewith which you can pause the conflict and plan the next action. In the wide, colorful world there are also elementary hurdles behind which new places to explore or objects are hidden.
Players can even explore the sea and sky with their beloved travel companions, Vuscav and Flammchen. By summoning these reliable allies, they can explore the world map.
