It was expected and finally today Konami announced a new football game, but if we were all waiting for a new installment of the PES saga, the Japanese company surprised all fans of the saga with the announcement of eFootball, a brand new free-to-play format.
He announced that he had not too pleased the most loyal fans of the saga, those who have shared moments with Pro Evolution since he was called Win eleven
PES fans aren’t happy with eFootball
For the moment Konami has not responded to these criticisms, but it will be difficult to convince a whole generation that has grown up with this saga and that it will now have to accept this format, play previous games or move on to the FIFA saga, a complicated situation.
I will never enjoy a soccer game like I did with these 4, ever. Too bad, it’s a sad day for video game enthusiasts. #RIPPES pic.twitter.com/yuRkOkcrWc
