GameMill Entertainment announced Skull Island: Rise of Kong, a third-person action-adventure game based on the King Kong movie saga. The announcement came after Amazon Europe accidentally leaked the game’s existence, revealing its title, cover art, and release date.
The game will be priced at $39.99 in its regular edition and $49.99 on your ‘Colossal edition‘, which will include alternate skins for King Kong, a boss rush mode, content from the development of the project, and 8 cinema-style filters for the game.
Skull Island: The Rise of Kong will allow us to control the famous giant ape on a journey of revenge to recover his position as king of Skull Island. The protagonist will have to face Gaw, a villain who took the life of his parents during his childhood. To do this, you will have to use your special abilities and explore the island to uncover its mysteries.
The game is inspired by the rich history of Skull Island Developed by creator Joe DeVito and based on King Kong by Merian C. Cooper. The game will feature settings and characters from the franchise’s latest films, such as Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla vs. Kong.
