The modern version of Samurai Shadow arrived on Xbox One and PS4 in June 2019 and debuted a little later on the now defunct Stadia and Nintendo Switch. Almost asking for permission, the game appeared years later on Steam and also appeared in next-gen with its Xbox Series X/S version, which we’ve actually reviewed here.
Since its market launch, the game has received several DLCs with characters from the saga and other IPs such as Baiken from Guilty Gear and Hibiki Takane from The Last Blade 2, one of the developer’s most forgotten titles . Regarding rollback netcode, after the beta we will have more news about its implementation.
