While we haven’t given a verdict on Scorn yet, it’s available now for all Xbox Series X|S or PC users, and more specifically, it’s included in Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, you don’t so you don’t have the excuse of not being able to test it. At least, if its organic and strange design based on the fantasies of HR Giger does not give you a little repulsion.
Just a few minutes ago we shared the launch trailer, but already the first reviews and this technical analysis of the famous analyst Bits appear, who from his YouTube channel shows us in his current detailed comparisons how it works on Xbox Series X | S, on Steam Deck and on the entire range of RTX 30 cards, including the RTX 4090 in addition, which hardly drops below 200 fps. But, as always, we are struck by the performance of the two Xbox Series, which we can see here:
Scorn does not drop below 60 fps on Xbox Series X | S
Either way, Scorn maintains its fixed framerate with 1080p resolution for the Series S and 4K for the Series X. But for the more powerful of the two, it’s striking that its graphics options are equivalent to the high level of PCswhich shows what developments for the new generation can really give when they finally abandon the old one.
Looking at this comparison we can be calm at least in terms of performance, from EBB Software they managed to get Scorn to work perfectly and have no issues at all, although good, if you really don’t want no performance issues and you’ve got cash to spare, the new RTX 4090 effectively TRIPLES the performance of the RTX 3080, proving it’s a real beast.
