The update takes up almost 100 GB, but there’s a good reason for that.
Good news for Sea of Thieves fans: Starting today we have a new update available for the game on Xbox and PC. As if that wasn’t enough, we also learned that This is one of the largest patches received to date at almost 100 GB on all Xbox consoles and in the Game Pass version of the PC.
The reason for this huge update is that Sea of Thieves now works with the latest GDK (Game Development Kit) from Xbox, which also allows support for DirectX 11 and 12 on PC, as well as “General game performance improvements” In all areas.

- Xbox Series X: 88.36 GB
- Xbox Series S: 90.15 GB
- Xbox One X: 88.36 GB
- Xbox One: 90.15 GB
- Microsoft Store: 102 GB
- Steam 10.49 GB
