The Sea of Thives kicked off 2023 with a big tailwind in its sails in the form of a new PvE adventure called The Secret Wilds which is available to players now and will run until February 2.
As for the timeline, the adventure continues the story immediately after what the previous event left us, The Rogue Legacy, and has Captain Briggsy as the main character.

The update has not only to do with the event but also incorporates some new features matchmaking, and the truth is that they promise. Many will remember that in season 8 the PvP mode was added, with this new update fighting with other players around the world will take less time, in fact, if the game takes a long time to find a rival of the other faction, it will be possible to face an allied crew.
The idea of Rare with this mode is to attract casual players to the title by also adding compensation for the defeated crew. Pirates of the virtual seas will have an excellent year ahead of them full of novelties.
