PGA Tour 2K25 brings legendary places, new challenges and strong rewards – to match the Major Championships.
With the start of Season 2 in PGA Tour 2K25 on May 14, 2025, players can look forward to a wealth of new content, which are closely based on the schedule of the real PGA tour.
The focus is on the three large major championships of the summer: the PGA Championship in the Quail Hollow Club, the 125th US Open in the Oakmont Country Club and the 153rd Open Championship in the Royal Portrush Golf Club. For these highlights, you can expect the challenges that are coordinated in the course of the season that put your skills to the test and lure with rewards.
The heart of this season is undoubtedly the famous Old Course at St Andrews on the left in Scotland, which can be played for the first time in the history of the PGA Tour 2K series. As a free addition to all players, this legendary 18-hole place, known as the “cradle of golf”, brings an authentic touch of golf history into play.
The focus of the new season is also a new archetype: the square. This playing style is designed for precise puttons and is embodied by professionals such as Matt Fitzpatrick, Collin Morikawa and Lydia Ko. If you choose this archetype in Season 2, you can complete special seasonal quests and secure unique rewards. From an OVR of 85, the ability “green reader” can also be unlocked – a useful tool for better assessment of the green struts.
Another innovation is the game mode “challenges”. In given scenarios with fixed framework conditions, the aim is to react flexibly and to think strategically. Those who master these tasks can look forward to rewards. In the course of the season, new challenges are regularly supplemented.
In keeping with the Charles Schwab Challenge On May 22nd, a specially developed 3-hole course will be released the day before, which was created in collaboration with Charles Schwab. This modern homage to the traditional tournament offers players an additional eleven exclusive in-game clothing rewards.
Season 2 also brings a new clubhouse pass. Highlights such as the Cobra White Snapback, Malbon Shorts and a Ruby Titlei T100 Iron are already waiting at the free reward levels. Anyone who reaches level 25 unlocks the new “Long Flop” blast – a further developed variant of the classic flop shot, ideal for situations in which a little more reach is required.
If you choose the paid clubhouse Pass Premium, you will receive additional rewards, including a place keeper helmet, suitable boots and the Ruby Limited Edition Club: The Titleist Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.5 Putter. In addition, status boosts can be activated for the long flop. Premium content can be unlocked at any time-regardless of the progress of the game or new seasons.
All Clubhouse Premium Passes of the Seasons 1–5 are also included in the Member's Pass, which also includes the Gear Pack Clubhouse. This provides a thematically coordinated outfit per season and body type. Even after the start of new season, progress can be continued individually in every season.
