Today, SEGA announced that the first content update for sound borders from 2023 (Sights, sounds and speed) will be available on Thursday, March 23 at 01:00. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch family of consoles, and Steam. The update Sights, sounds and speed this is the first of three content updates planned for this year. Adds new features including music box, photo mode and new challenge modes.
New functions
- New challenges – After completing the main story campaign, players can access new challenges: Cyberspace Challenge and All Out Combat, through the title screen. Cyber Challenge is a time trial mode where players will race against the clock to complete multiple cyber stages in a row. Besides, sound borders will offer All-Out Combat, a timed combat mode where you fight multiple enemies, Guardians, and Titans.

- music box – Players can listen to their favorite Sonic songs in the Starfall Islands with the new music box. With 53 tracks available, players will have instant access to 13 songs and can unlock the remaining 40 songs by earning Sound Memories on each island.
Also coming this year are two more updates to Sonic’s outdoor action-adventure. New features, challenges, playable characters and more will be included.
