Train Sim World 5 is developed and published by Dovetail Games and will be released on September 17, 2024 for Windows PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Coming out on September 17, Train Sim World 5 is available to pre-order now for PlayStation, Xbox and PC and features three brand new routes in the UK, Germany and the US, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
In particular, the eagerly awaited West Coast Main Line offers a new London terminus in the series with London Euston, as well as the elegant Avanti West Coast Pendolino for players of the Deluxe Edition. Frankfurt also celebrates its Train Sim World debut with the ICE-T, and Metrolink’s San Bernardino line brings more Californian action into the game.
New gameplay features include route hopping, fast travel and Conductor Mode, which allows players to check tickets and manage doors in Service Mode for the first time, further enhancing the Train Sim World experience.
Dovetail Games also announces six future Train Sim World add-ons, covering Wales and the Netherlands for the first time, as well as new areas in the UK, US and Germany.
