There could be a shadow drop from one of the Xbox Game Studios at the next Xbox Direct.
With Hi-Fi Rush, a real surprise landed on Xbox Series X|S and PC almost a year ago. Not only was the rhythm-action experience developed by Tango Gameworks revealed at Developer Direct, the Xbox Game Pass game was also playable on the same day as Shadow Drop.
There could be something similar at the next showcase. Although we don’t know when and in what form the next stream will take place, the latest rumors suggest there could be another shadow drop.
The rumor about this comes from eXtas1stv, who also writes for Exputer. He has heard that there will be a shadow drop or surprise release during or a few weeks after the showcase.
As the conversati on on the topic continued on X, the game was called Kiln by Double Fine. The multiplayer brawler was already being worked on in 2017 as part of the Amnesia Fortnight Jam. But it cannot be said whether this is the game.
