Five years will pass since the arrival of Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, the game developed by Mimimi games, the same company responsible for the prodigious Desperados 3 that is now coming to life with the expansion of the strategy game set in the beautiful and violent lands of feudal Japan, more specifically in the Edo period.
Aiko’s Choice will be a special expansion, as it won’t need the base game to function and will run according to one of the main characters from the original game. This is how Aiko will have to ally with other warriors to face her. sensei, Lady Chiyo in a story that those who have played the core title will appreciate the most.
More shadow tactics? Yes please
The expansion was announced a few months ago and although it was known that it would see the light of day in December, the exact date it will arrive, which we now know. it will be day 6, was unknown. The production will add many hours of additional gameplay translated into main missions, side missions, new selectable characters and completely renewed storylines.
Aiko’s Choice is currently only announced on PC, and although the base game has seen the light of day on Xbox One and PS4, nothing is yet known about this new opus on these platforms.
