Although the Shin Megami Tensei games haven’t been released much on Xbox, it seems like things might change since it was announced that Shin Megami Tensei 5 Revenge will reach all consoles, including Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC. Announced in the past Nintendo Directthe game will not only stay on Nintendo’s laptop and will be the next June 21, 2024 when it reaches all available platforms.
For those who are not very familiar with the saga, Shin Megami Tensei V was launched exclusively on Switch and now, 3 years later, it comes to us this sort of “definitive edition”. Although we don’t yet have many concrete details on the differences from the original game, Atlus assures that this version will have new story content on the original Shin Megami Tensei V.
Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance comes to change and add things
According to the development team, this game offers us a new plot, locations, demons and new characters like Yoko, who goes on adventures with the protagonist. As we begin we can follow the Canon of Creationthe same story as in the base game or go for El Vengeance Cannon that, although it features a similar plot at the beginning, the middle and late parts of the narrative see “significant changes”. They also comment that there will be new endings to unlock.
