Electronic Arts and Respawn today unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Apex Legends: Shockwave ahead of the new season’s release on August 6.
EA and Respawn have released a new trailer for Apex Legends: Shockwave. The new season starts on August 6th.
An overview of the contents of the new season:
- Free resuscitations – Players can stay in the game with unlimited revives until the end of Round 4. As long as a squad member is alive, the player and their squad will always be revived.
- New map: E-district – The new melee map “E-District” provides a vertical gameplay experience and immediate, continuous action. A neon playing field where anything can happen.
- Fighting instinct – Players will feel their power with visible enemy health bars and markers as long as they maintain line of sight.
- Direct Shot Revive & Bot Royale – End players will get another direct shot early on in Shockwave. Additionally, the new Bot Royale mode will be available starting August 6, providing a true combat experience while bots can be sent to the scrap heap solo or with a pre-made squad.
- New weapon meta: Akimbo – Fans can fire two weapons simultaneously – P2020 and Mozambique – automatically doubling their firepower.
