Stalker 2 was revealed during the Xbox Game Showcase in July 2020 and is sharing a new video today. However, don’t expect an unprecedented preview of gameplay, it’s the in-engine that is revealed to us. A short sequence of 40 seconds that however will glue you to your chair and make you dream. Because yes, this new video is impressive to say the least!

If no release date is known at the moment, players have high hopes to discover these new adventures from 2021 onwards. And it’s not this new teaser that, on the contrary, lowers expectations. No shooting, no bloody clashes here, just the unique atmosphere of a thrilling world after Chernobyl. Lovers of the first episode, in particular, will recognize the campfire that the license holds dear while others will appreciate the sense of detail.

The sequence is absolutely superb indeed. The work on the textures is of a very high quality and the light shows are particularly believable and successful. The effects of particles, snow, fog, and ash are also impressive and promise a pretty crazy atmosphere. It remains to be seen what the rendering will look like in the game, and therefore new gameplay excerpts to be discovered! Final reminder: STALKER 2 will be available when released on Xbox Game Pass. We can’t wait, can we?
