Trekkies are lucky. Star Trek: Resurgence will be the next long-running saga-based game Star trek created by Gene Roddenberry. The game will be a graphic adventure with dialogues and some action keys.
The game will come from the hand of Dramatic laboratories, which is presented to us as a new study that is reborn from the ashes of another already mythical. And is this developer made up of former Telltale employees. This company was particularly recognized for its graphic adventure games mixed with rapid events of the Batman saga, The Wolf Among Us or The Walking Dead.
Star Trek: Resurgence according to the trailer that we can see, is an adventure game. According to Dramatic Labs, the story takes place sometime after Star Trek: The Next Generation. This saga, led by Captain Jean-Luc Picard, is considered by many to be the pinnacle of the series and an indisputable benchmark in science fiction.

In the game we see the deck of a Federation ship, a new crew, different races, and the mythical Dr. Spock. The Vulcan is a pop culture icon and a reference to the legendary first Star Trek television series.
As in the other works of the late Telltale, itPlayers will have access to different dialogue and decision-making options that can drastically change the outcome of the storyline and steer it through different branches. In the Star Trek saga, combat isn’t very common, but it looks like we’ll see the use of phasers. The animations and cutscenes don’t seem top-notch, but despite this, keep in mind that the game is still in development and it may differ from the final look of the game.
