Remember when Bethesda Game Studios promised us that Starfield would be a game with a future full of additional content? Well, it looks like they've started to deliver on that promise in perhaps an unexpected way. Especially because in recent hours Starfield owners have been able to download a Free additional content that will delight any fan of the classic shooter DOOM.
The content in question is called “At the Gates of Hell” and is a mod created by the same Starfield developers. to commemorate the franchise's 31st anniversary. The official description of the mod tells us about a band of mercenaries who escape an encounter with an entity that transcends evil. Our objective will be to investigate this mysterious event and prevent an evil force from invading our universe.
The Doom universe collides with Starfield
Once the mission is completed, You can receive a space suit inspired by the Doom Slayer Praetor, Jerkin and Crucible Blade. Yes, you read that correctly. You will be able to conquer space with the same arsenal as the protagonist of the idSoftware shooter. This is particularly interesting for DOOM fans, as it gives them the opportunity to experience the Starfield universe in a completely new way. To download the mod, simply go to the creations menu and search for “At the Gates of Hell”.
It is interesting to note that this Free additional content is available to all Starfield owners, including those who can play through Xbox Game Pass. This is great news for players who haven't been able to purchase the game traditionally.

Another example of the potential of Starfield with mods, where not only can community creations be played, but Bethesda itself develops small mini-expansions or new content for use by players . Will we see more collaborations like this in the future?
