In recent hours, compromising information has emerged concerning Walmart, one of the largest retail chains in the world. As revealed in what appears to be an internal email leakThe retail giant plans to remove physical copies of Starfield from its shelves and warehouses starting January 22 and lasting until February 5.
Walmart executives reportedly asked each store to get rid of physical Starfield inventory during this time. To promote rapid elimination, it is planned to drastically reduce the price of each copy. Some believe that this measure could be linked to the internal changes in the retail chain’s business strategy that we have already discussed in the past.
What about physical games?
This maneuver is financed by the distributor. Individual stores will not be charged for products removed from shelves and processed before February 5.
Walmart will remove all physical copies of Starfield from its stores and other Xbox games may follow.
