Starfield event could be announced ‘very soon’ according to Bethesda

A few days ago, Microsoft announced Developer_Direct, a new presentation format to show news of upcoming titles. In its first edition, which will take place on January 25, Microsoft will show new previews of Redfall, Minecraft Legends or Forza Motorsport, in addition to offering their final release dates. However, there is one big absentee: Starfield.

Todd Howard’s game, one of the most anticipated of the year, once again confirms that its release date is within the first six months. Additionally, those in Redmond confirmed that his absence is due to the fact that they are preparing their own exclusive event for him

given its importance. And while we don’t have an approximate date yet, we could be much closer to seeing it than we think.

Starfield event earlier than expected?

So, although some rumors and indications place its broadcast in a few weeks, the reality could be quite different. And all of this goes hand in hand with a comment from the official Latin American Bethesda account, which when asked when they would announce the release date, replied “very soon”. Yes, we know that very soon it is a very broad temporal index and that it could go from a few days to a few months.

But it is at least significant that an official account is already beginning to indicate

that “very soon” we would know the Starfield release date, which would indicate that the game’s exclusive preview show would soon be announced and aired.

Starfield will arrive in the first six months of 2023 on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
