You still don't know it, but you're about to change Joey Ultraviolet's underground crime. See, Borderlands 3The latest free, time-limited event – Cartels Revenge – revolves around an Eridium cart made up of three different groups and managed by a cruel Joey Ultraviolet. For the next six weeks, he will kick his ass. Very much.
Starting today, you'll see Cartel's performance causing trouble across the Borderlands, including areas found in each game's add-on for the game. If you drop one of these deals, two things will happen: first, a wave of Cartel Thugs will go in to avenge your wrong partner – and they may bring a Badass-level Underboss with them. If you successfully complete these reinforcements, you will collect other Hideout Coordinates links.
Collect enough links and your sailor Maurice (remember him for Bloody Harvest?) Will be able to transfer you to Joey Ultraviolet & # 39; s from his hiding place with warm water, a new concrete space Cartels Revenge. There you'll be confronted not only by Joey but also by waves of enemies from one of Cartel's three groups: cyborgs recognizing CryptoSec technology, debt-collecting debtors through The Burnt Ends, or Eridium's dust-runner known as The Purpatrators.
Each gang game has its own unique look, offers a different system of Underbosses, and most importantly, enjoys its own Legendary loot dream. Naturally, we recommend paying more for Joey's visit to increase your chances of hammering out all new Leanary content. Thankfully, you will never face the same team twice, so the first thing you will want to do after leaving Joey's house composition is to begin collecting links for your next trip. Be sure to collect all the good gear before the event ends June 4 or miss!
Well, and if Legendary gear isn't enough to convince you, how about some cool event-specific cosmetics? Cartels Revenge introduces a set of 18 limited time challenges to complete while the event is live. Make sure to keep track of your progress with the Event tab on your ECHO device menu to make sure you hit your targets. Here's a look at what's available:
- 3 challenges: Leather device for & # 39; VECH-tor Graphics & # 39;
- 6 Challenges: The & # 39; Retro Outrunner & # 39; Weapon Trinket
- 10 challenges: Decorating the Room for & # 39; Framed Firewall & # 39;
- 14 challenges: & # 39; Hotline Pandora & # 39; Vault Hunter Head
- 18 challenges: & # 39; Death With Filigrees & # 39; Vault Hunter Skin
With all that said, you can always leave the event if you like to play the game as you normally would. But with a whole new area, new enemy types, limited time challenges, and, tons of new gear, we hope you'll consider going back in time. Just remember: Revenge of Cartels it starts today but ends June 4th.
Before we leave, we wanted to mention one thing for all the top players out there: Mayhem Mode 2.0
Between Mayhem 2.0, Cartels Recovery, Borderlands Science, ours ongoing events, again next month Guardian Takedown, we've never had a better time to jump and have fun Borderlands 3. We hope to see you there, Vault Hunter!
