The developer of Mafia III is said to be working on a new installment in the series. Mafia 4 is rumored to be a prequel to the first part.
A report by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier after Hangar 13 wants to develop another mafia game. As the new head of the studio, Nick Baynes said in a virtual meeting with employees that he wants to get the green light from Take-Two Interactive for a fifth mafia, although the fourth is still in development.
With two Mafia games and a rumored new installment of the tennis game Top-Spin in the pipeline, there is a smooth transition from one project to the next, avoiding postponements and problems from the past.
