Today we learn from a press release that the Polish studio People Can Fly has just signed a contract with Microsoft for a new game. Very little information is currently known about this “Maverick” project other than that it is a project It will be an AAA based on an existing IP and with a budget between $30 and $50 million!
This isn’t the first time these two companies have worked together. People Can Fly had previously co-developed with EPIC gears of war 1 to 3, before taking the reins of the spin-off episode judgement in 2013. Another agreement was concluded in 2021 for outriderswho had joined Game Pass from day one.
A talented and experienced studio, a pro at action games and will likely bring us good caliber on Xbox!
