Last year 2020, we received the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, the new and ambitious game from the Polish studio that was not without controversy due to its disastrous launch on legacy consoles and false promises. However, over the months it received several important updates, aimed at improving the performance of these consoles and fixing the countless bugs it suffered from.
In addition, CD Projekt Red announced that the long-awaited next-gen version and big fixes will be released by the first quarter of 2022. With all of this, we would be faced with a more faithful view than expected, although we have still traces of its old trailers; like the famous train from E3 2018.
How to add the metro to Cyberpunk 2077
The first thing you should know is that only is available for your PC version, since mods must be installed from folders and not by the game itself. The modder responsible for bringing us all the metro mapping is keanuWheeze, who uploaded everything needed on the famous Nexus mods page. To add the mod, you must first install and configure Cyber Engine Adjustments. For this to work, configure the game to be borderless windows and disable any third-party software that may be causing issues. Once installed correctly, you will need the Native UI configuration mod. Finally, extract and install the the Subway.
The first two will also work for most mods. Let’s say they’re responsible for making sure everything is running smoothly. This of course is something “provisional”, we know that the basics are in the game and we can even see them for ourselves. It could someday be added as DLC along with new locations, abilities, and more. For now, we’ll have to see how the next updates progress.
