The acclaimed RPG franchise Suikoden is being revived again thanks to the overhaul we’ll see in 2023
Konami knows how to touch the hearts of the oldest players in the place. If you’ve ever struck us with pure nostalgia with the release of TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection this summer, they are still announcing games from our earliest childhood. This is the case of Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune & Dunan Unification Wars, a pair of jewels that will see the light of day next year, bringing with them all the RPG magic that they once offered to users. Of course, they will come with some improvements to make returning to these deliveries more enjoyable,
Obviously, the first thing that has been touched up in both games is their visual part. A graphic wash can be observed in several aspects. We will have a redefinition of the characters in HD, there will be more elements on the screen and we will see new animationsIt’s both in combat and in exploring environments. Also, for this remastering they had Junko Kawanodesigner of the protagonists of Suikoden, to redo the illustrations again.
The thing does not stop there. Like other RPGs that have had a second (and third) life, we have playable options to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. We will have the auto battles, dialogue selection or double speed in case we want to waste as little time as possible in dungeons.
