Yesterday fans got their first look at the gameplay of Elden ring, the highly anticipated action RPG from the minds of “Game of Thrones” author George RR Martin and FromSoftware visionary Hidetaka Miyazaki. Over the course of a 15 minute video, the team shared a little about the game’s history, environments, combat, and more. Players take on the role of a Tarnished who has to fight his way through hordes of enemies to become the Elden Lord.
The video showed a closer look at Elden ring‘s huge world design with the meticulously crafted Lands Between, which enables unprecedented immersion in FromSoftware’s biggest game to date. We also got our first look at the game’s Legacy Dungeons, which are large, multi-level dungeons reminiscent of the classic FromSoftware level design found in games like Dark souls.
Adventure and danger await any troubled man who dares to step into the Lands Between and try to assert himself as The Elden Lord.
