In this great variation ofAlice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, the protagonist steps forward in this action RPG, equipped like never before to defeat the queen and the curse she has brought upon the kingdom. Ah, the fact that ravenclaw either entirely in English, it directly disqualifies many players… Even if the level required to understand the missions and the quests is not that high. No, the main concern is the camera, which turns out to be a nightmare against bosses. Too bad because the DA of this enchanting and colorful but depraved world as well as the gallery of NPCs are endearing and make you want to wander around again and again…
No stress !
Prophecies come in handy, right? This allows you to ask a girl who has suddenly appeared to break the Queen’s tyranny, lift the curse that is corrupting the kingdom, cure cancer, bring Herbert Léonard back to life… No, but there is still a lot to ask for from the characters of the world ravenclaw
ravenclaw, in addition to the name of the region, is also the honorary title of the heroine who (briefly) is supposed to bring balance to the Force. For this, she will quickly arm herself with a sword, spells and bombs. What’s funny is that the young girl really enjoys being in a parallel reality and having the fate of the world in her hands. The general atmosphere is therefore rather relaxed, although many dangers will stand in the way. The gallery of NPCs helps downplay the problems, between the rabbits, the big cats and the fearful hedgehog Clyde it’s hard to take the looming threat seriously. No stress, everyone can play it.
Thank you for your cooperation… Really, thank you!
In this action RPG in the third-person perspective, Ravenlok is hardly developed, especially the sucker for small quests. Get that, go umpteen that. It doesn’t fly very high. And as usual, the chosen one has to do EVERYONE’S dirty work to gain access to the trader, such an essential object of progression. The enchanting artistic direction makes the pill disappear and leaves you wanting more. On the other hand, the dialogues are only available in English, basically, but at least exclusively.
Boss fights complete specific missions and take place in arenas that are more open than the usual corridors. On the other hand, this opening underlines the rigidity of the camera. The latter has very limited mobility, a little to the left, a little to the right and that’s it. If the bosses find themselves off-screen, well, we’re in trouble.
Additionally, I’m stuck in my progress with a quest that I can’t complete. I also have a sinking feeling that this mission unlocks something, which in turn unlocks the rest. Aggravating. It’s also about a mouse that asks me to bring him a cheesecake in exchange for an essential item to start a mechanism. Thank you Mouse for dictating the fate of the world to his appetite. In short, I spent my time carrying water for artificial missions that fill more than anything else. Remains a pretty and nice adventure even for the youngest or the most undemanding.
I appreciated:
- Wonderful artistic direction
- An action role-playing game for everyone
- Instantly funny and lovable characters
I liked least:
- The camera in boss fights
- Available in English only
- Fedex and artificial quests
