Last week we learned about the burial of the next two generations. The generation that will have the Xbox Series X as the most powerful console ever, but that will have serious rivals in PS5 somehow. Also, both contain custom endpoints for RDNA2. And this RDNA implementation on consoles will be very different from what we can see on the new AMD Radeon graphics cards.
That is, AMD's RDD2 will not be the same as the Xbox Series X. That's why Microsoft and AMD have been talking about Custom RDNA2 in the console, rather than just RDNA2. And as we know today, this point is something that AMD personally asked to avoid confusion between consoles and PCs.
The AMD Radeon will have the highest RDNA2
But why? According to WCCFTech, the launch of RDNA2 on AMD Radeon GPUs will surpass what we will see in consoles. That is, they are not the same structures and, therefore, may offer different characteristics to those we will have for comfort. And of course, great power when using Raytracing on a PC.
When will we be the official confirmation of this? Well, in a very short period of time, since AMD's idea of launching the AMD Radeon at the end of the second quarter of the year, that is, in late June It is yet to be seen if the coronavirus is changing these systems but yet everything remains the same.
