While the output of Forza Horizon 5 approaches, some players are reluctant to put the controller down to sit behind a wheel. But a big question remains the choice of who represents a particular budget. So what ruffles are available depending on yours? We see that along with the best steering wheels with force feedback according to budget.
When purchasing, make sure to choose the version that is compatible with your support. Playstation compatible steering wheels are not Xbox compatible and vice versa.
The small budget
For those on a budget, we can recommend the Thrustmaster TMX steering wheel. This entry-level model has no interchangeable elements, for example, it is impossible to replace the steering wheel of the steering wheel with an open wheel. There are two versions:
Somewhat more expensive it is also possible for the Logitech G920 for 299 $.
The middle class
The midrange is starting to have some interesting points. Our choice ? We stick with Thrustmaster with two suggestions, depending on the crankset you want.
These steering wheels have the special feature of being able to change the steering wheel or even the pedals according to your wishes. We’ll get back to the accessories list below.
The top of the line
At this level the choice becomes difficult and we have to look for other brands for very large budgets. At Thrustmaster we have the Thrustmaster TS-XW Racer Sparco P310, which has better managed force feedback than the wheels mentioned earlier.
If you are still looking for material above, you have to contact the manufacturer Fanatec. This offers a set of parts that have to be assembled in its configurator for powerful but very expensive devices. Everything happens here.
Thrustmaster accessories
If you want to gain precision or feel, there is an option to change the crankset. Among those who are compatible with Thrustmaster steering wheels of the middle and upper class, we recommend the T-LCM, whose pedals are adjustable via a spring system.
Flywheel wheels can also be a huge part of your experience. If you don’t like the steering wheel supplied, there are several available and changing is very easy. There are different wheels: round wheels (base), oval wheels and F1 wheels.
For the biggest simulation fans, there is also the option of adding a gearbox and handbrake. And that’s a good thing, because Thrustmaster combines a 2-in-1 with the TSS handbrake.
With all of these accessories, take the time to check the compatibility listed on the sales sheets with the device you plan to use to avoid problems.
