By a declaration in Twitterhave made it clear that this decision is due to the global complications which are reflected throughout the world and in addition to the restructuring at the commercial level of the Embracer group.
Deus Ex canceled and a year set to repeat what was done in 2023
Last year we had numerous layoffs, without going any further, in December 2023, the Codemaster studio, which brought us F1 23, had also announced a wave of layoffs, if we go there barely a month, in November, the publisher behind titles like GhostRunner or Control, also carried out massive layoffs, thus making 2023 the year with the most layoffs in history.

Despite the great profits that it leaves to the companies and studios behind great titles, none seem to escape this new trend, unfortunately, which is why, from the Xbox generation, we hope that those affected by the studio layoffs will be able to find a new management and receive the corresponding compensation.
