We must have guessed it and we all know it: great games take many, many years to develop. Phil Spencer confirms that The Elder Scrolls 6 won’t appear again for at least the next 5 or 6 years. Also the boss Xbox cannot currently guarantee that this is an exclusive productor if it will appear on other platforms as well.
These statements come as part of the current litigation with the FTC over the Activision/Blizzard acquisition deal. So as for the delay, it seems likely, especially since starfield is on our doorstep. But in terms of possible exclusivity, Spencer may be saying what the commission wants to hear. In addition, it is clearly indicated that it is the same team starfield Who notices The Elder Scrolls.
Bottom line: It’s way too early to think about it The Elder Scrolls 6 as an Xbox exclusive. Also, since it’s still too early to guarantee release on this console generation and not the next… I trust time will answer all these questions!
