So the surprises weren’t over yet! After an excellent Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Xbox used the “Extended” event to lift the veil on a new game from Xbox Game Pass. The latter is called Roboquest and looks like a fast FPS roguelite developed by the RyseUp studio.
It’s still a small event in itself. The introduction of a new game right in Xbox Game Pass often creates a little excitement for gamers like us. We curiously ask ourselves whether this will be a good surprise, whether he will entertain or even mark us. In the case of Roboquest, the potential is clearly there to deliver fun.
Although the story is anecdotal, you know that in 2070 you will be projected into the skin of a play girl named Max. The latter is among the last survivors on earth after wars and climate change devastated much of our resources.
But Max won’t be alone for long. When she discovers an old robot, she gets her hands on a weapon that can turn the tide of history and drive badbots out of this world. And this is where you obviously come in to allow this new duo to face hordes of enemies, each more powerful than the other … and who are sure to kill you. Because yes, whoever says rogue, says insured deaths!
With its comic-style visual style and edgy gameplay, Roboquest now has our full attention. It will obviously provide advancement based on improving the character’s skills and weapons and should give us tireless action.
