In Far Cry 6, the action takes place not only from the first person perspective, but also using a third-person camera.
Ubisoft is breaking new ground with Far Cry 6. As the main author of the game, Navid Khavari, revealed in an interview, the first person shooter will switch to a third-person view in certain game situations.
In addition to cutscenes, you will also be able to see the protagonist Dani Rojas from the outside while exploring the guerrilla camps. According to the author, this step was chosen to create a deeper bond with the main character and to support the atmosphere.
Furthermore, the game will briefly change to an outside perspective if you use the Supremo Backpack in the game, so that, according to Navid Khavari, “the players can see the effects of the backpack and better empathize with the effects of actin.”
Far Cry 6 will be released on October 7, 2021 for Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia and PC.
