It’s been a while since we started talking about filming the Halo series live for TV. Yesterday at the Game Awards 2021, we could see a first glimpse of the series in the form of a trailer.
The feelings conveyed by the teaser are really good. So far we’ve been able to see pelicans, spartans, or a scientist who just might be Dr Halsey. The series is set in the 26th century with humanity mired in war with the Alliance.
The cast of actors includes people like Jen taylor, Pablo schreiber (as Master Chief), Shabana Azmi and much more. Its budget is estimated at around $ 200 million. A very high budget for a series. And it is that the purely fantastic setting of Halo makes the saga a very difficult product to transfer to the big or small screen because of all the special effects that it requires. And all of this brings it to its high budget.
NowThe question is whether what we don’t see will live up to expectations.. By this we mainly mean enemies: Grunts, Jackals, Hunters … all of them are particularly difficult to represent credibly on the screen.
The series will come from Paramount + and will arrive in 2022. This platform cannot be found in Europe today, so we must be vigilant to see if another service will take care of bringing it to Europe. Do you want to see it? In the Xbox zone, we are already looking forward to taking advantage of it.
