Mitsuki travels from South Africa to Tokyo to attend a troubled school, hoping to pass his university exams next spring.
He soon learns that some of his classmates are treating him like a disfellowshipped person, for he is the oldest member of his school. It seems impossible to make friends, and Mitsuki devotes himself to a lonely, lonely presence…
That is, until he meets a single mother, Himuro Kyouko, who just happens to live in the same apartment with him. Mitsuki offers to help Kyouko take care of his daughter, Tama. Kyouko, on the other hand, helps Mitsuki study for his upcoming exams.
