These are the precedents such as CD Projekt Red and now Bloober Team who have announced that they are withdrawing their games from sale in Russian digital stores. Bloober Team started with Steam as announced in a press release, but will gradually continue to do so with the various virtual stores that distribute their games in Russia.
Studies reliably show Russia’s rejection of invading Ukraine and although it may seem like something that has no effect, it is, in this way they show their rejection of the deplorable fact that is happening in Ukraine and make their rejection of these infamous events visible.
Bloober Team withdraws its games from Russian digital stores
As the unwarranted Russian invasion of Ukraine continues, resulting in the deaths of soldiers and civilians, we at Bloober Team have decided to stop selling our shares to Russia and Belarus on all platforms.
We believe that global organized resistance can help make a difference. We want to be part of a world that does not turn a blind eye to warmongers and we will not remain neutral when human lives are at stake.
