The new consoles from Microsoft and Sony would already have a release date.
We are still enjoying the Xbox Series, but as always it does not stop, after this console another will come and of course companies like Microsoft and Sony are already working on their next machines. The good news is that there is still time for this to happen, we would have at least 5 more years of the current generation.
The news comes directly from Microsoft lawyers, who have recently commented about the deal that Microsoft offers to Sony for Call Of Duty, the famous 10-year deal for PlayStation consoles. In short, it was revealed that until 2028 we will not have the new Xbox and PlayStation 6.
Launch of the new Xbox and PlayStation 6
The terms covered by this agreement in any case exceed the expected start period for the next generation of consoles, which is 2028. Therefore, Call of Duty will also be released on the next generation PlayStation platforms, should it be launched during the duration of the agreement.
In the quote above, it's clear when the new consoles would arrive and the validity of the deal for Call Of Duty in the event that Microsoft's purchase of Activision ends up being finalized.
