After a few days on Steam, the title catapults into real success which we will soon be able to enjoy on consoles with cross-play as well.
The Outlast Trials is a title that has been around for several years, specifically since 2019 when it was announced and then evaporated without further news. When it seemed forgotten, developers from the team at Red Barrels brought the game back to the big screen with a Early Access for PC which is already among us and which will soon also arrive on Xbox.
Keep in mind that the Xbox version had already been announced in April, but that will not have Early Accessbut that it will arrive with the final version 1.0 of PC and that it will have cross play unlimited.

The detail to take into account is that even if the version will have cross play will not possess cross progression so if you play on PC in early access and want to transfer your adventure to the Xbox version, it will not be possible.
Computer version was released on May 18 and the critics have been pretty good with it, especially considering that it's not the final version. As of this writing, the game has nearly 5,000 reviews on Steam and has a "very positive" rating, so it looks like the new game from the Outlast saga will have a bright future.
