PES 2020 – press release translated

We regret to inform our users that online services for all versions of eFootball PES 2020 will be discontinued on 09/30/2021 00:00 (UTC). We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued and loyal support.

Please note that all myClub coins and all general practitioners will expire at the same time as the online services end. If you still have myClub Coins and General Practitioners, we recommend that you use them before exiting online services.

The online services for eFootball PES 2021 LITE (free version) currently available for download will continue after 09/30/2021. If you want to keep playing online, we encourage you to try this game out.
* Note that myClub coins and remaining GPs cannot be transferred to eFootball PES 2021 LITE.

We hope that you will continue to enjoy the PES series in the future.

As you can read in the press release, you will be able to continue playing eFootball PES 2021 LITE after this date. Also, deleting PES 2020 doesn’t mean the end of the franchise. Despite everything, it’s unfortunate that the servers are closing their doors so early. However, this is not an isolated incident as it is the same on the competitive side. In case you missed it, FIFA is sorting their servers too. Electronic Arts recently announced the shutdown of servers from FIFA 15 to FIFA 18.

So, eFootball PES 2020 players, enjoy these next five months of play. After September 30th, 2021 it will be time to say goodbye to your club.
