We've already talked about it but want to emphasize a little Xbox Game Pass count and maturity. Microsoft's gaming subscription service has not only been shown to be a success, but a game changer that seems ready to be separated from the traditional model. According to Phil Spencer, it's not the idea that makes gaming purchases lifelong, but it can be added.
Redmond gave us some very interesting information on how users use all their activities on Xbox Live. And that the American company has done its job and since then everything seems to be going very well.
The Xbox Game Pass doesn't stop
We know the details that came out of Satyya Nadella's mouth in her third quarterly financial report, in which she has detailed numbers that many might not have expected. Microsoft has been accused of excessive accuracy regarding usage and subscriber numbers, and some doubts have been erased today.
More than 10 million users are active. That's what the Xbox Game Pass represents for the American company today.
We saw record-breaking engagement in this quarter's games:
• Xbox Live has nearly 90 million monthly active users
• Xbox Game Pass has over 10 million subscribers
• The xCloud project has hundreds of thousands of active users in view across 7 countries, with more coming– Frank X. Shaw (@fxshaw) April 29, 2020
That's a good fact, but unlike the nearly 90 million registered users this quarter, it seems like there's still a way to get Microsoft. Of course the way is more than good. The latest catalog additions such as Red Dead Refuge 2 you're sure they help keep it growing.
